There is much to see in Charleston, including the CLAMAGORE. If you wish to attend the three scheduled events, there is plenty of free time to sightsee and/or visit the Hospitality Room.
A donation of several cases of beer for the room has been promised. As in 2008, others may feel free to donate other "adult" beverages. I will budget soft drinks, snacks and other related cost by determining a small registration fee and anticipated income from a raffle. In Groton I was asked about a golf event. I am not a golfer, so I will leave that to somebody else - however I did visit two courses & will provide the information to anybody who wants it.
Rooms at the Holiday Inn will be $104.00 per night, plus tax. Banquet will be approximately $30.00 per person (one entree) or $35.00 (Choice of two entrees).
I know I just asked you to respond a few weeks ago, but now I'm asking again. I need to know if there is enough interest in doing this. I'm not asking for final answers from those who are not sure - just an indication of your thoughts. I will assume no answer means no interest. If you are interested in plans going forward it would also help if you would indicate preference for having a choice of two entrees or if you would be satisfied with just one in which case I would have to pick either chicken or beef.
